HYPNOTHERAPY
Is hypnotherapy suitable for everyone?
Hypnotherapy is not suitable for some people, especially those who have or had certain health conditions diagnosed by a medical health professional. These types of conditions include. Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorder, Psychotic Episodes, Schizophrenia (or any other psychiatric condition), Epilepsy, Narcolepsy. Also people who have taken steps to serious self-harm or suicide in the past.
What if I need help but can’t afford the fees?
Many people are in financial difficulties at the moment and that is why I offer reduced concessionary fees for treatment for hypnotherapy. I offer this to a limited number of people so please be mindful before getting in touch.
Is it confidential?
Yes all sessions are completely confidential and any information collected during our sessions is protected and securely housed. However, information can be disclosed in the event that I believe you to be of serious harm to yourself or others. In addition a Court Order (civil, criminal or coroner’s Court) can request such records.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is different and so is every situation. Some issues can be caused by external factors and once they are removed the issue resolves. At other times problems are more deep rooted and require more attention for a permanent treatment. In any event, I always aim to bring about resolution in the shortest time possible.
How long are sessions?
The first session, which includes the assessment is around 90 minutes, and following sessions are between 60-90 minutes long.
